Gayle Delean Hall
Gayle Delean Hall entered a no contest plea agreement on July 20, 2012.
She received a total of 2 years probation and $928 fines & court fees, with adjudication withheld.
Some people just can't help themselves from being and acting stupid.
A concerned person saw a mother dog and her puppies locked inside a car at the Wal Mart in Pace, Florida. A Santa Rosa County deputy responded, and asked Wal Mart employees to page the owner of the vehicle. No one responded to the store's page.
Some time later, Gayle Delean Hall returned to her car with a shopping cart full of items. The deputy could see the dogs inside the car, and said the puppies needed examined. Hall "handed over" the mother dog, and the officer repeated that she wanted to examine the puppies. Hall then allowed the deputy to examine one puppy, and the officer found the puppy "hot to the touch and lethargic." The deputy informed Hall that Animal Control needed to cme and examine the dogs.
At that time, Hall removed the puppies from the officer, locked them inside the car again, and became argumentative. Hall shouted about poor treatment from the police - Hall has a history of charges including traffic infractions, assault, domestic violence, drug posession, allowing animals to roam and failing to provide rabies vaccinations, and passing worthless checks. Hall eventually became combative, attacking the deputy.
