Since the first rally in 2008, a lot has changed.
One of the things we hear often is "I wish you had a branch in "X" city/county."
What most people fail to acknowledge is there is no "boss" here. Yes, we have members who are more active, and more communicative (such as writing a blog), but each and every person who has compassion for victims of cruelty is equally responsible and authorized. It only takes one person standing up and speaking out to encourage more people to do the same. As long as your intentions are pure and you obey the laws, anyone can represent the victims in the name of the Animal Justice Rally Group.
We've made a slight change to our website. We've organized the cases by Florida county. We have members, supporters, and like-minded folk from Pensacola to Panama City and beyond, including central Florida, Texas, Illinois, and beyond. The ApWg, Animal Protection Watch Group, was started in Georgia by an AJRG member when she relocated.
Hopefully the cases-by-county format will encourage you to take a more active role. Most of us can't be in every court across the panhandle for every case. But we all can DO SOMETHING!
