This case is the perfect example of the direct correlation between domestic violence and animal abuse, and how intolerance only makes things worse.
On October 17, 2010, a domestic dispute turned fatal for the cat Coco Chanel. Johnson was fighting with his "roommate" Greg Stafford. Stafford had been abused by Johnson before, and police had been called before, but Stafford refused to press charges because he is in the Air Force Reserve and didn't want his personal relationship status to become public. On October 17, Johnson and stafford were arguing, supposedly about Stafford's cat Coco Chanel. During the argument, Johnson was chasing the cat around their 6th floor apartment, repeatedly throwing her across the room. Coco was so terrified she urinated and defecated during her attack.
At some point, Stafford left the apartment to call police. He was talking with PCBPD officers in the building's parking lot, when Coco Chanel was thrown from the 6th floor balcony by Johnson. She landed in the parking lot and died.
On a side note, Bobby Dewayne Johnson is studying to become a nurse anethesiologist.
Anesthesiology has one of the highest rates of drug addiction amongst medical professionals.
