When is it the responsibility of our lawmakers to pass unpopular legslation, versus acting as the voice of their constituents?
On the flip side, how do we convince our government officials to ignore their personal leanings and listen to us?
Okaloosa County official Mr. Campbell is a good exampe of the latter. He was approached by members of Training Not Torture regarding the practice of fox penning: “I don’t think we should get in FWC’s business,” Campbell said. “We ought to leave that to legislation. I’ve been to many fox pens and I’ve enjoyed it. They’re a part of history.”
